SPREAD EAGLE New York City streetmetal at its most raw and uncompromising. Formed in 1989, Spread Eagle were signed to MCA/Universal before they'd even played their first gig. Their self-titled debut and the follow-up Open to the Public became cult classics of gritty, no-frills hard rock forged in the gutters of NYC. Bassist Rob De Luca went on to play in UFO for over 15 years. After a long hiatus, the band came roaring back with Subway to the Stars in 2019 and are now unleashing their fourth album, The Brutal Divine, on Frontiers Music Srl. Produced by De Luca, the record channels the intensity and street-level authenticity that first put them on the map, but with a darker, heavier edge. With Ray West's lethal vocals, Jommy Puledda's razor-sharp riffs and the De Luca brothers locking down the rhythm section, Spread Eagle remain a vital force in hard rock. This is the real thing. NÄSTY (support) The solo project of Rob Nasty, founder and frontman of Swedish sleaze rock pioneers Loud 'n' Nasty. With Loud 'n' Nasty he was a key figure in shaping the new wave of Swedish sleaze rock in the late '90s and 2000s, a movement that helped put Sweden on the international hard rock map and influenced an entire generation of bands. With Nästy, Rob Nasty builds on that legacy with a darker, rawer and more uncompromising sound, rooted in classic sleaze rock but delivered with a modern edge and complete creative freedom.
